This pottery face is an authentic artifact of the Taino Culture from modern day Puerto Rico and dates from 1000 to 1400 AD. Pre-Columbian Taino’s flourished in Puerto Rico and Hispaniola. Their advanced pottery reflected the respect they had for the many indigenous animals in their surroundings. Taino’s were a very proud and spiritual people.
